Our mission is to create a supportive space that promotes the spiritual, physical and emotional growth of Jewish teen girls.
The Aliyah Girls Loft is a 501c3 organization is based out of the Crown Heights neighborhood in New York. Services are provided to teen and young adult girls from Jewish Neighborhoods throughout Kings County.
The Girls Loft has been around since April of 2012. What started in a small apartment with 8 girls, is now a large community center with 30-40 girls coming through for daily programs. Services are also provided in the community to girls and their families in collaboration with schools and local service organizations.
Through fun and creative after school activities, self-esteem/leadership programs, individual and group mentoring, and referrals to counseling services, girls are guided to discover the strengths they have within themselves to make this world an even better place.
Because “It takes a town to raise a child”, The Girls Loft invests much effort in ensuring that all of our girls are accepted among the greater community by way of partnerships and alliances with key community leaders and organizations, general community awareness events and periodical publications.
